Charles E. Moore
Founder & Facilitator
Charles Moore has directed the Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir since its inception in 2007. He currently serves as Founder and CEO of this Non-Profit Organization. His work has earned the choir several honors and awards including the 2008 Arkansas Heritiage Award for Best Traditional CD of the year and the 2009 Rhythm of Gospel Music Award for Best Traditional CD of the year.
Charles, a native of Douglas Georgia is the son Leviticus Moore Sr. and the late Annie L. Moore. Charles is married to Tangellia D. Moore and the father of three children: Nikki Moore Cummings, Charles II, Christian and one granddaughter, Jayden. Charles has 4 siblings that has supported him throughout his music career: Leviticus Jr, Mary Ann, Ben and Wanda.
An accomplished performer and director, Charles also wrote and arranged two songs on the Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir’s first album: "Where Jesus Is" and "I Love you Lord".
Over the years, he has worked with and organized choirs in numerous cities to include the Douglas Mass Choir and several Military Choirs in Alabama, Louisiana and Germany.
Charles is a member and serves as Praise and Worship Leader at Valley Harvest Ministries in Rogers, Arkansas where Bishop John L. Benford is his Pastor. Charles is employed at the Corporate Headquarters of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. where he holds the position of Regional Human Resource Manager.
