Welcome to the Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir (AGMC)! AGMC is comprised of some 132 members under the direction of Charles E. Moore. The choir ministers a variety of songs to include Praise and Worship, Traditional Gospel, Contemporary Gospel, Sunday Morning Church songs and Old School Gospel. The choir's members form a diverse talented group of singers, and represent numerous churches throughout the state of Arkansas. Together, we all sing praises with one voice, and bear witness in song to our unity in Christ.
The award-winning Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir is a multiracial, interfaith group that regularly performs throughout the United States. The choir performed on the prestigious 17th Annual Trumpet Awards Ceremony, January 2009 in Atlanta Georgia. They also performed on the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Bobby Jones Gospel Show in August 2009 and July 2011. The choir stands for diversity, tolerance and unity and spreads this message through its music.
The choir’s Founder and Facilitator, Charles Moore, has extensive musical credentials in gospel music. For 14 years, Charles sung lead and background with the legendary Georgia Mass Choir. His smooth unique voice and joyous emotional feel for the music make him a popular soloist as well as an accomplished director, composer and arranger.
